Volleyball Recap: Campbellsport Comes Up Short

Campbellsport lost against Waukesha West back in September of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Wolverines.

Smith Ellie paced Campbellsport's offense, picking up six kills. Ellie were helped by Muraski Emma and Berres Chloey, who contributed five assists each. Theisen Brielee controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Campbellsport now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Waukesha West, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Campbellsport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Elkhorn on the 6th. As for Waukesha West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against New Berlin West on the 6th.
