Softball Recap: Woodstock North Comes Up Short

Woodstock North came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Jacobs Golden Eagles, falling 13-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Thunder have suffered since April 13, 2024.

Woodstock North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Jacobs, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodstock North will head out to square off against Sycamore at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jacobs, they will venture away from home to take on Prairie Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
