Basketball Recap: Ridgedale Piles Up the Points Against Vanlue

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ridgedale). They blew past the Vanlue Wildcats 65-35 on Tuesday. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

When it comes to explaining why Vanlue lost, don't look at Owen Roszman. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 15 on his way to 20 points and three steals. That's the most steals Roszman has posted since back in January.

The victory (which was Ridgedale's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. As for Vanlue, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Ridgedale will venture away from home to face off against Ridgemont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ridgedale has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Vanlue, they will host Liberty-Benton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty-Benton will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Vanlue surely won't give up without a fight.
