Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Olton's Tenth in Last 12 Outings

Olton won the last time they faced Lockney and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Olton Mustangs strolled past the Lockney Longhorns with points to spare, taking the game 54-37. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Longhorns are ranked 1163rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Olton is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Lockney, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
