Volleyball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Sunrise Mountain's tournament run continued when they took on Greenway on Friday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Demons by a score of 2-0.

Logan Nguyen paced Sunrise Mountain's offense, picking up six kills. Nguyen got some help from William Cisneros and his 15 assists. Carter Holzschuh controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Sunrise Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Greenway, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.

Sunrise Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sunnyslope on the 4th. As for Greenway, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Deer Valley on the 4th.
