Soccer Game Preview: San Marino vs. South Pasadena

San Marino hasn't had much luck against South Pasadena recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The San Marino Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the South Pasadena Tigers at 4:00 p.m.

San Marino is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Temple City on Monday. They lost 7-1 to the Rams. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Meanwhile, South Pasadena waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their defense stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Monrovia with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emilio Gonzalez, Aiden Munoz, and Samuel Rodak.

South Pasadena has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those ten contests. As for San Marino, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-3.
