 Fairhope typically has all the answers at home, but  on Friday Bayshore Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with  a   5-2  victory over the Fairhope Pirates. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Bayshore Christian.
  Jack Malone spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Ben Whiteside was  excellent,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI and two  doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brooks Jones, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Bayshore Christian's win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-7. As for Fairhope, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record  this season.
 Bayshore Christian will  face off against Orange Beach at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Fairhope, they will be playing at home against Oneonta at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Fairhope is facing Oneonta at the right time seeing as Oneonta is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
