Cactus barely beat Deer Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cobras put the hurt on the Skyhawks with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Cobras sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-21, 25-15.

Cactus was led to victory by Faith Connell and Addison Martin. Connell had 12 digs and three aces, while Martin hit 68.8% for 11 kills and ten digs, eight aces, and two blocks. That's the most digs Connell has posted over her last seven matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Cactus was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Cactus' record now sits at 15-2. As for Deer Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.
