Volleyball Preview: Willmar Cardinals vs. New London-Spicer Wildcats        
        
		
             Willmar has been on the road for six straight, but  on Tuesday they'll finally head home. A feisty cat fight will be fought when  Cardinals dukes it out withthe New London-Spicer Wildcats at 7:00  p.m.
 Last Thursday, Willmar came up short against Sauk Rapids-Rice  and fell  3-1.
 While Willmar ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 22-25,  25-20.
 Willmar might have lost, but man,  Hannah Magnuson was a machine:  she  had 20  digs and three  aces. With that strong performance,  Magnuson is now averaging an impressive 10.2  digs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Isley Ripperger, who  had 12  digs.
 Meanwhile, New London-Spicer waltzed into their match  on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Dragons.
 Willmar's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 15-7. As for New London-Spicer, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8-2.
 Willmar beat New London-Spicer 3-1  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023. Does  Willmar have another victory up their sleeve, or will New London-Spicer turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
