Soccer Recap: Conway Comes Up Short

The Conway Tigers came up short against the Myrtle Beach Seahawks on Friday, falling 4-1. Conway have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jonathan Guererro, who's now up to two this season.

Conway's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Myrtle Beach, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Conway will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against St. James at 7:15 p.m. St. James' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Myrtle Beach, they are taking a road trip to challenge Socastee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Socastee will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Myrtle Beach surely won't give up without a fight.
