Baseball Recap: Cliffside Park Comes Up Short

Cliffside Park lost to Fort Lee back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Bridgemen by a score of 6-5.

Cliffside Park saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Raftopolous, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Another was Derek Sanchez, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Cliffside Park has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Fort Lee, they pushed their record up to 15-5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

While Cliffside Park had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
