Basketball Recap: Rich Township Picks Up Ninth Straight Win at Home

On Saturday, the Rich Township Raptors strolled past the Orr Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 57-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raptors.

Orr lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nia Crawford, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 steals. The game was Crawford's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Neshaun Russell, who posted eight points along with 11 boards and four steals.

Rich Township pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Orr, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.

Rich Township will welcome Bloom at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Bloom knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Rich Township likes a good challenge. Orr has already played their next matchup (against Prosser), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
