 Sadly, Beaver Dam is still looking for their first win of the season after nine  contests. They fell victim to a  rough 21-1 defeat at the hands of the Pahranagat Valley Panthers  on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Beaver Dam of the  15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March of 2023.
 For Pahranagat Valley's part,  Braxten Tsosie was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit (he also only allowed one  walk). Tsosie was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Flint Higbee, who  went 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs.  Colin Howard was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
 Beaver Dam's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Pahranagat Valley, they now  have a winning record of 7-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaver Dam will take on Liberty Baptist Academy at 1:00  p.m.  in Tuesday's  first game. As for Pahranagat Valley, they will look to defend their home field  in Tuesday's  first game against Lincoln County at 5:00  p.m. Pahranagat Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.9  runs per game  this season.
