The Jordan Beetdiggers waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They had just enough and edged Murray out 51-48. Winning is a bit easier when you outrebound your opponent 17 to 7 on the offensive boards, as Jordan did.

It was another big night for Tess Joseph, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tess Jacobson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Murray lost, one person who can't be blamed is Mia Auclaire. Despite the final result, she scored 27 points. Auclaire hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games.

Jordan is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Murray, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7.

Jordan will head out on the road to square off against Tooele at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Murray, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Cottonwood is ranked 60th, while Murray is ranked 72nd).
