Hilmar came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Orestimba, but Devon Bell wouldn't allow it. The Orestimba Warriors had just enough and edged the Hilmar Yellowjackets out 50-48 thanks in part to Bell, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

When it comes to explaining why Hilmar lost on Thursday, don't look at Aaron Solorio. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 14 to rack up 18 points along with eight boards and five blocks. Solorio has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Cohen Felber was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Orestimba's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Hilmar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hughson the next time they take the court. Orestimba will head out to face Hughson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Hilmar will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
