Basketball Recap: South Haven Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After a string of four wins, South Haven Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 52-44 to the Pleasant View Christian Warriors. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against South Haven Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-40 last Saturday.

Despite the loss, South Haven Christian still got an impressive performance from Lily Weaver, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. What's more, Weaver also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Josie Gillilan, who posted 11 points in addition to seven boards and four blocks.

South Haven Christian's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Pleasant View Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

South Haven Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pleasant View Christian, they will take on Christian Community at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christian Community will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Pleasant View Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
