Basketball Recap: Mildred Piles Up the Points Against Miller Grove

Mildred picked up another tournament win on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-15 win over the Miller Grove Hornets.

Ashton Moore had a dynamite game for Mildred, putting up 13 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Brennan Moore, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 boards.

The victory got Mildred back to even at 1-1. As for Miller Grove, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Mildred didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-45 defeat against Chisum on the 6th. As for Miller Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-38 loss against Christian Home Educators on the 10th.
