Baseball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland lost against Grand Oaks back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cleveland Indians came up short against the Grand Oaks Grizzlies, falling 10-3. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly seven runs.

Cleveland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ivan Gonzalez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Cleveland and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for Grand Oaks, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

While Cleveland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
