Volleyball Recap: Seaholm Takes a Loss

After flying high against Berkley on Thursday, Seaholm came back down to earth. The Maples fell 2-0 to the South Christian Sailors on Saturday.

South Christian was led to victory by Kendall Kwantes and Meg Schreur. Kwantes had three digs and two aces, while Schreur had four digs and three assists. That's the most aces Kwantes has posted since September 4th.

Seaholm has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's still a better percentage than their 4-16-1 record this season. As for South Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Seaholm and South Christian will both be playing Flushing the next time they take the court. The Maples will head out to face the Raiders at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Sailors will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
