Basketball Recap: American Takes a Loss

American was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 70-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kennedy Titans. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 59-48 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

American's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Kennedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

American will face off against Irvington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. American is facing Irvington at the right time seeing as Irvington is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Kennedy, they will square off against Mission San Jose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
