Cedar Park Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against King, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Knights by a score of 24-21 on Friday. The contest was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Cedar Park Christian still got an impressive performance from Lyal Viers, who rushed for 162 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Viers really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run. Lincoln Meyers got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Cedar Park Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for King's, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
