Catholic-B.R. takes down John Curtis Christian in a playoff battle

Recap: Catholic-B.R. Bears vs. John Curtis Christian Patriots
The Catholic-B.R. Bears had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged John Curtis Christian out 38-35. Winning may never get old, but Catholic-B.R. sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
John Curtis Christian's lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dagan Bruno, who threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Gabriel, who rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Catholic-B.R.'s win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for John Curtis Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Catholic-B.R. will take on Archbishop Rummel at TBD on Friday. Archbishop Rummel will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. John Curtis Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
