Macon County triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Tyler Felder

Recap: Macon County Bulldogs vs. Aquinas Fightin' Irish
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Macon County Bulldogs walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Fightin' Irish 38-35. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Macon County can attribute much of their success to Tyler Felder, who rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.
The win (which was Macon County's sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.5 points per game. As for Aquinas, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Macon County will head out on the road to face off against Telfair County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Telfair County is ranked 135th, while Macon County is ranked 155th). Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
