Recap: Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs vs. Clarkrange Buffaloes
The Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 64 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Clarkrange 68-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (56), Red Boiling Springs still had to take the loss.
Jack Cordell was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with six steals and five rebounds for Clarkrange. Bryton Swallows was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Red Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Clarkrange, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Pickett County the next time they take the court. Clarkrange will host Pickett County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Red Boiling Springs will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
