Softball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Santa Fe Christian's offense. They came up short against the Escondido Charter Tigers on Thursday, falling 10-0. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Santa Fe Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Escondido Charter, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Fe Christian will head out to face off against Crean Lutheran at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Escondido Charter, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Escondido Charter Tigers challenge Sage Creek Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
