Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau entered their tilt with Black River Falls on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Tigers a 4-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Red Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The result came thanks to Caiden Brady's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam De Jager, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Nathan Holthaus also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Black River Falls, they dropped their record down to 9-9-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau will head out to challenge Onalaska at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
