Soccer Recap: Horizon Takes a Loss

Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Loveland Red Wolves. One reason for the loss might be Horizon's aggressive play style: three Horizon players were handed yellow cards.

Their goal came courtesy of Antonio Lugo, who's now up to two this season.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Loveland, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horizon will take on Windsor at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loveland, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Thompson Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
