Recap: Charlestown Pirates vs. Heritage Hills Patriots
After a string of four wins, The Charlestown Pirates''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a serious blow against Heritage Hills, falling 51-14. Charlestown was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-0.
Although Charlestown took the loss, they still got scores from Clay McClelland and Ethan French.
Braydon Durham was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 37 yards and three touchdowns.
Charlestown's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Heritage Hills, their win was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-1.
Charlestown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Heritage Hills will head out on the road to face off against Southridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southridge is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
