Baseball Recap: Lansing Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Lansing and Seaman, and Seaman kept the tradition alive. The Lions took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Wednesday.

Lansing's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Seaman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3-2.

Coming up, Lansing will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Bishop Ward. As for Seaman, they are taking a road trip to take on Bishop Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
