Baseball Preview: Pine-Richland Rams vs. North Allegheny Tigers

The Pine-Richland Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the North Allegheny Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Pine-Richland's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while North Allegheny has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Friday, Pine-Richland came up short against Fox Chapel and fell 6-2. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Pine-Richland has scored all season.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. However, it's not like North Allegheny struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.3. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
