Basketball Game Preview: Lee Ganders vs. Beaumont United Timberwolves

The Lee Ganders will face off against the Beaumont United Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 27.

Lee is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against West Brook on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lee was outmatched by West Brook and fell 79-32. The Ganders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-13.

Meanwhile, Beaumont United ended up a good deal behind Barbers Hill on Tuesday and lost 67-52.

Beaumont United's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-9. As for Lee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-25.

Lee took a serious blow against Beaumont United when the teams last played on January 7th, falling 84-40. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Beaumont United's Ashton Green, who went 11 of 17 en route to 28 points in addition to seven assists and five steals.
