Basketball Recap: St. Joseph's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Joseph can now relate to. They fell to the McMahon Senators 64-60. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Senators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 92-86 back in February.

Despite the loss, St. Joseph still got an impressive performance from TJ Wright, who went 11-for-19 on his way to 28 points. Lameik Black was another key player, shooting 56% from the field en route to 12 points.

With the defeat, St. Joseph broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for McMahon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-7.

St. Joseph does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McMahon, they will challenge Fitch at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in McMahon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
