Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Find Success

Shenandoah won the last time they faced Hagerstown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders strolled past the Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 51-36.

Reid Helman was a one-woman wrecking crew as she almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylen Lynch, who posted six points along with six boards and three blocks.

Despite the loss, Hagerstown still got an impressive performance from Sophia Tinkle, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds.

Shenandoah's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Shenandoah and Hagerstown will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Raiders will take on rival Blue River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. Meanwhile, Hagerstown is set to square off against their familiar foe Knightstown at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
