Football Recap: Carlson Piles Up the Points Against Anderson + How To Watch

Carlson won the last time they faced Anderson and things went their way on Friday too. The Marauders really took it to the Titans for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-7 win. Considering the Marauders have won five contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Izaiah Wright was his usual excellent self, rushing for 180 yards and three scores on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Trent Ison, who rushed for 54 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Carlson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 356 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Carlson's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.0 points over those games. As for Anderson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carlson is set to face off against their familiar foe Woodhaven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Marauders 11.8, the Warriors 8.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Anderson will challenge rival Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
