Catholic had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins a 2-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for Catholic: when they faced off against Cape Henry Collegiate back in April, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Eva Witter and Ella Barnes scored both of Catholic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Catholic pushed their record up to 13-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those five matches. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-7-2.
