Greeneville barely beat Cherokee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Greene Devils were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Chiefs on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Greene Devils, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Greeneville's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Cherokee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greeneville will challenge North Gwinnett at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Greene Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
