Basketball Recap: Lavaca Takes a Loss

Lavaca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 40-33 to the Booneville Bearcats. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Arrows have lost by exactly seven points.

Lavaca's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Booneville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-15 record this season.

Lavaca does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Booneville, they have already played their next contest, a 53-31 loss against Paris on the 21st.
