Big Bear lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Cathedral City, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Bears blew past the Lions 24-1 on Monday. The matchup marked the Bears' most dominant victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Big Bear and bumps their season record up to 10-11-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Cathedral City, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-14.

Coming up, Big Bear will square off against Hesperia Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cathedral City, they will head out on the road to challenge Palm Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
