Greater Middlesex - White recap December 3, 2013

Perth Amboy fell to Carteret 33-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.

The Ramblers led Greater Middlesex - White in scoring this week after putting up 33 points on the Panthers. Terell Merricks ran for 224 yards during the win.

Merricks was a beast in the backfield as Carteret defeated Perth Amboy.

Merricks provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Matt Yascko's team beat Michael Giordano's team. Merricks' key target this week was Brandon Gilder, who caught 3 passes for 37 yards.

Kyle Moroney put up the best numbers through the air as South Plainfield fell to North Plainfield. He finished with 6 completions for 130 yards and 1 touchdown. Moroney's favorite target this week was John Chillemi, who caught 3 passes for 108 yards.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Tigers' Moroney and Kyle Dickerson have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-4 quarterback Moroney has thrown for 1,657 yards this season, while Dickerson has 37 catches for 457 yards. Colonia's Sam Pero leads the league in rushing yards with 1,412.

South Plainfield lost in the closest game of the week to 14-12 the Canucks. Roemello Monroe ran for 180 yards in the loss.
