Soccer Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Lisbon fell just short of Moultonborough Academy by a score of 2-1. Lisbon hasn't had much luck with Moultonborough Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Moultonborough Academy, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lisbon will face off against rival Colebrook Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Moultonborough Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Woodsville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
