Volleyball Recap: Ainsworth Takes a Loss

Ainsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alliance.

Despite the defeat, Ainsworth saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lily Beel had 14 digs. Gracyn Painter also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Ainsworth's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Alliance, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Coming up, Ainsworth will take on West Holt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Alliance, they will face off against Sidney on Thursday.
