Volleyball Recap: Reed-Custer Comes Up Short

Reed-Custer was the 2-0 winner over St. Anne when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Comets fell 2-0 to the Cardinals on Saturday. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Reed-Custer was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15.

St. Anne got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Demi Duncan out in front who had five kills, two blocks, and two aces. That's the most kills Duncan has posted over her last five matches.

Reed-Custer's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for St. Anne, their victory ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Looking ahead, Reed-Custer will venture away from home to face off against Streator at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Anne, they will welcome Momence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
