Volleyball Recap: St. Edward Takes a Loss

St. Edward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wheaton Academy Warriors. The Green Wave were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-8.

Cayden Arboleda paced St. Edward's offense, picking up two kills. Arboleda got some help from Will Foley and his three assists.

St. Edward's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Wheaton Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. Edward is set to face off against their familiar foe Chicago Hope Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wheaton Academy will challenge rival Timothy Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
