Basketball Recap: Mount Ayr Comes Up Short

Mount Ayr and Lenox squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mount Ayr had to settle for second. They took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lenox Tigers. The match marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mount Ayr's defeat dropped their record down to 21-2. As for Lenox, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Mount Ayr nor Lenox have any future games scheduled.
