Amato Civitello made a big impact no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Hamden Hall Country Day is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-6 otherwise. Civitello was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double.
