Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jordan Cadman and Brody Tah Lead Miyamura to Victory

Miyamura entered their tilt with Shiprock on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Shiprock Chieftains by a score of 62-54. This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Chieftains back in February, they had to take a 43-34 loss.

Miyamura was led to victory by Brody Tah and Jordan Cadman. Tah dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Cadman shot 62% from the field on his way to 20 points along with six assists and five boards. The dominant performance also gave Tah a new career-high in steals (four). Jaxon Jones was another key player, putting up six points.

When it comes to explaining why Shiprock lost, don't look at Deon Harvey. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Elishah Tsosie, who had ten points.

Miyamura's record now sits at 6-20. As for Shiprock, their defeat was their 12th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-23.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Shiprock beat Miyamura by a score of 52-43 on Monday.
