Softball Game Preview: Exeter Monarchs vs. Central Valley Christian Cavaliers

The Exeter Monarchs will face off against the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Exeter has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Friday, Exeter didn't have quite enough to beat Immanuel and fell 4-2. The Monarchs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Central Valley Christian came up short against Sierra Pacific on Friday, falling 17-1. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Exeter's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Central Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Exeter took their victory against Central Valley Christian in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 13-3 score. Will the Monarchs repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
