Soccer Game Preview: Lancaster vs. Silverado

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Lancaster face off against the Silverado at 4:30 p.m. on Friday... Lancaster's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Lancaster's offense. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Highland an easy 4-0 win.

Meanwhile, Silverado unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor Granite Hills could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Silverado's goal came courtesy of Isaiah Molina, who's now up to seven this season.

Silverado's draw makes their record 5-10-3 this season. As for Lancaster, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6-2.
