Basketball Recap: Takini Takes a Loss

Takini was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Wakpala Sioux, falling 75-30. The Skyhawks lost against the Sioux in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 76-7 score last time.

Takini's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Takini will face off against Tiospaye Topa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wakpala, they will take on Timber Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
