Clallam Bay unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Crescent Loggers on Friday, falling 46-26. The defeat continues a trend for the Bruins in their meetings with the Loggers: they've now lost eight in a row.

The win was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for Crescent, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clallam Bay will host Wishkah Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Bruins their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Crescent, they will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
